Buy a set of plans for an easy to build Stirling Engine.
Most all drawings are full size (1:1)
Most all parts are presented on an 11 X 8 ½ sheet of paper (one part per sheet).
The prints will be mailed in a large envelope, so they are flat.
High school students have been building these Stirling Engines for close to a decade.
There are approximately two dozen parts per engine.The different Stirling engines share a dozen or so common parts.
The parts do not have to be machined on a CNC.
Typically, the only critical dimensions are between centers.
